Ottery St Mary Tar Barrels

An assortment of images from a thoroughly entertaining evening at the Tar barrels event held annually in Ottery St Mary. No one seems to know the exact origins, but the rolling of Tar Barrels through the town has become a traditional annual event attended by many thousands - Many thanks to Graham Leney for showing me the event from such close quarters!!!
